i dunno, I kinda thought the ODST suitings were a bit bulkier.
if I had the time, the drive and the resources, I'd probably try making one, heh.
remember they use similar gear as a Spartan II.

They're not THAT bulky to be honest, it's the ODST's themselves who are bulky >> I'm not really well built, so It's not the BEST cosplay for me, but I don't care x3

-hehe, maybe, but you also have to remember the sides of the armor where you have to buckle up. Might help you if you use something that looks like a bullet-proof vest. Probably use some foam-material either colored black or covered in a black material.
-to make the visor-helm more sleek, you might wanna use cardboard and duct tape for the smooth-points.
-you also might wanna get some satchels for putting around your waist for 'carrying grenades and extra ammo".
-the SMG-silenced looks pretty good.
-the ODST ground troopers also normally wore finger-less gloves unlike a Spartan II in order to interact with their environments better.
-the wrist and shin armor looks pretty good, although improvements can be made upon them.

Not at all! Critique is good x3 means I can improve on things~

Underarmour, I was told to get a pressure suit, or something like Moto-Cross armour, I was on a rather tight budget, so couldn't afford to get one, so I made do with the best I could, will be an improvement in the future.

The helmet is actually really rather smooth, but again, due to budget issues, I had to use low grade car body filler, which is expensive enough on its own >>;
As for the visor, again x3; botched due to money.

The satches, I am currently working on the stuff to put on my hips, and they won't take long, bit busy with college and such.

Gloves! XD I have a tale about this. I've been chatting to a friend for MONTHS about pinching his fingerless gloves, which are the same as these, only fingerless (duh x3). So I went over to his house the other day after arranging with him to pick them up. Sat outside of his house for 45 mins in the baking heat, called, text, sent him messages over facebook, and didn't hear a thing until yesterday x3;

My good friend Wrath however happened to have a pair, so he lent me those. In all fairness, they'll do the job x3

Shins I'm pretty damn proud of xD; but yeah, the whole set of armour can be improved, but due to restraints such as money, time, college and illness, I've done a good job in my eyes.

but, hey, if you connect the belt you have there with the satchels, it should balance out things on your armor.
