Oh my...
In a surprise idea that altered everything for his character and a fair few points of his arc. It appears Blitzwing may not have started the war swearing an oath to Megatron but to a different allegiance, I mean I never said where they got Blitzwing from to strap him down to the triple changer experimentation chamber...

He sorta does but they're more different colours caused by negative physical affects that correlate with the emotional swings he has due to the rough, forced 'upgrade'.
His angry face is only red because his entire body heats up to unhealthy levels in that state, so his face flushes red with the heat, it also leaves his face very sore after.
Though, granted I feel like I might lessen the effects in future because it doesn't look right and I'm unsure entirely on how to approach how Blitz was handled in TFA
Also this is him wondering why he seems to remember wearing an Autobot symbol at one point? How strange? He was always a Decepticon.... right?

If you look at the side where it says the folder and it reads "Transformers: Extrication" then it's part of my fanverse where I apply headcanons and the like to the characters and where I decided to 'redesign' them too.
As far as he remembers he WAS always a con but occasionally has a weird nagging thought/memory that he possibly wasn't.
Which to make clear, in my version/re-telling Blitzwing was an Autobot at the start, joining them with fellow animal conservationist, Beachcomber, but Blitzwing was made a prisoner after a Decepticon assault. He was then used as part of a Triple Changer experiment during which he had his mind wiped and rewired to be a loyal Decepticon.
