This rare variant of the Venusaur is rarely seen walking around.
Their skin is lost its spines, but is hardened to a degree that even matches some rock pokemon, while still staying flexible.

They are usually the leader of a herd near a waterhole or oasis.
It spends nearly all of its time buried near that reliable watersource.
If their herd is attacked by predators or otherwise threatened they vigorously defend the little ones.
Sometimes, they take the whole herd on a trek through the desert to another watersource.
If it is not to deplete the current one or of some unknown reason ist yet to discover.

Research has indicated that they can communicate with infrasonic through the ground with other saurs over more than 50 miles away.
It is also believed that the smaller saurs wich can´t emit the sounds can still feel them through their feet, the reason why they find water so reliably over great distances
