I figured you'd recognize reverb, since you love it so much :P It's just a reverb on top of a reverb causing a bit of a loop in the dissonant delay.

It's this thing that sucks that people use to hide their insecurities. Or to make things sound dated. In this case it's both, but it's more the latter.

This is totes spot on; it's eerie how much even your vocals sound like Joel, and the guitar is incredible -- it sounds perfect. If I didn't know better, I could have (and would have) sworn that the guitar was Joel when the song started.

I played it the other night at the jam with Eli playing drums and it sounded pretty deadly. The poor drunks didn't know what to think of it though!

i don't know who Joel Plaskett is bu its a very beautiful song and your singing and playing is excellent. It sounds like your using a solid spruce top something. What kind of guitar is that? I'm glad you found me. I may not have found you otherwise:3

Jebus, check out the ears on you! It's a Garrison G50, solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, but something else adds to it's brightness; it has a one piece carbon fiber bracing system. They were made in Newfoundland, Canada, but now they're slaves to Gibson making subpar mid level acoustic electrics.

I forgot to mention how much I love the sound of your rainsong, by the way. It is bright and ringing, reminds me of the Garrison actually.
