This is my character Obrandi (pronounced with a silent O)
In my head canon, Opossums all have a Silent O at the beginning of their names. It's silent because they don't see it as an O but rather as a hole. They keep the hole until they find their mate. Then once they feel whole, they don't need the hole anymore. So they drop it from their names to signify they are complete and no longer require the hole to feel whole.
