Long ago, I was chatting with a friend about werewolves and what would they feel when transforming. He spoke about a pain or weird feeling in the bones because of them adapting into a new shape, and also about a pain in the gums and other things.
Of course I never knew how my hands would feel if they started to morph into claws and all that jazz, but I could empathize with toothache, I couldn't help imagining it as -that- annoying pain that isn't sharp but is uncomfortable enough to trigger some sort of primal reaction in your mouth and make you drool more than usual.
So yesterday while doing some human figure studies I found this pose and thought it would look nice as a werewolf, and it reminded me of that old little chat. So I just made it into a drawing of that cute werewolf fellow you saw the other day, Tony.

I am a fucking poser and haven't watched any movies yet :(
I'm currently writing a story for this werewolf fellow so I want to get into some movies and comics once I have enough time! you know, to actually get in touch with the mythos and stuff, any good ones that you can recommend? :)

It sounds like something I could sympathize with.
Back when I had wisdom teeth, dentists use to caution me about how they would pose problems later on. For a few years I put up with this, as I didn't feel jaw pain at all.
It's only after I finally gave in and had it taken care of do I now get jaw pains occasionally where the wisdom teeth once had been. :(
Seeing discussion of media for the mythos, I sort of have seen various takes on it. I suppose though I like things along the lines of the movie "Wolf Children". Their changes come off as painless, but seeing the first transformation scene in that is really something else I think. :3
