Here is a completed feline Build-a-Beastie. She's about the same size as a real housecat (about 50cm/20" long).
Build-a-Beasties are customisable kits that I make for you so you can build a toy of your fursona at a super-affordable price (from $35). Visit my website for more infos: www.patterpillarshop.com
I've used round-pupilled eyes with felt eyelids. This gives her a more serious thoughtful expression than the flyena (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2955411/), who has plain black eyes, and thus more of a cute innocent look. I always prefer to use the black eyes myself, but you need to see what the alternative looks like if you're thinking of ordering a custom kit.
The camera, as usual, has completely failed to capture the purple. It's not bluish purple, it's purple-purple. But you'll have to take my word for that.
The shape of the snout is made to be appropriate for large wild felines, so it's not exactly perfect for a domestic cat. But it's not too horrendous.
So now you know how both canine and feline Build-a-Beastie kits look when they're made up, in case you want one!

Indeed it is.
I used to do fully made up custom stuffed toys, which cost on the order of $200 (about 10 hours of my labour at $20 per hour).
I started doing it this way instead to preserve my sanity and make the toys affordable for more people.
So, yeah, you can afford to buy quite a few kits (assuming you made some horrendous mistake and needed a whole new one, which is pretty unlikely) before you reach the cost of my time to assemble one for you.
Did you see the sample instructions on patterpillarshop.com? They show you how it's basically just a matter of attaching the appropriate sides of the various pieces together until you have a complete toy.

I have a plain jaguar/leopard kit already made up that's AU $35. I can probably make a dingo just by changing the colours on a fox, so $35 for that also.
If I have to twiddle around redesigning anything, the price goes up to $50.
