Hisato’s mother, Honoka is a fashion designer and seamstress who works from home, where she creates clothing mainly for the people who live in town. However she also sometimes gets contracts from others, and even takes the occasional trip to various cities.
When Honoka was younger, she actually visited the Digital World herself, where she bonded and made close friends with a Hyokomon. As such, when she eventually discovered her son’s involvement with the Digital World, she wasn’t all that surprised. She was, however, surprised by the fact that her son had become part Digimon himself, but it did explain some of the strange things she thought she saw from time to time.
Honoka always enjoyed using her son as a model for various children’s clothing, but once she discovered his Witchmon form, she realized this opened up quite a bit of opportunities.
Strangely, the cat construct that was created when Hisato first Digivolved into Witchmon seemed to persist even when he had devolved. Given the name Kiki, the cat would go on to act as a pet, and would often hang out within Hisato’s phone.
