I can't really say much about the goings on until I read the tales myself, but I do wonder, if by all sounds, the island is one of those gilligan scenarios, where folks can't leave...
No matter how much your life might be ideal at the time, being essentially trapped can leave a feeling of doubt in even the most joyous, thankful mind...

So much depth behind such gorgeously represented individuals... I'd love for my own art... my own characters... to have this kind of depth, one day...
