My sweet cactus boi Myrtle (adopt by povertypunk)
I adopted this cutie from
povertypunk a month ago but I wanted to wait until I could draw my own art of him before I posted it.
I adopted two different mystery eggs, one for myself and one for my partner. Funnily enough, they were both dragons and both of them REALLY suited our personalities. Such a weird coincidence.
As of posting this the 'Strawberry Milkshake' egg is still available, so you should consider adopting here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38401082/
About the dragon:
Myrtle lives in the desert and although he has wings he does not use them to fly. Instead, he burrows into the sand while hunting and uses the wings to help fling sand over his body so he is buried enough to just look like a couple of cactuses from his horns. Myrtle loves to dig and play in the sand.
The spines on his back aren't always prickly and normally lay flat on his back like coarse fur. When threatened or during hunting he can make the spines go erect, protecting him from other creatures.
