wolf/canine thing representing suffering and pain. project had us making pieces based on a contemporary artist's work. I chose Beth Caverner Stichter, who makes animals in poses that portray human emotion in the most primal ways.
burned bits are from special raku firing, which turns exposed clay burned black and when the air hits the glaze you get randomized markings and patterns.
feet were supposed to be all fucked up, toes splayed out, twisted, tail tucked between legs
