Takkie at the poolside
Finally, after hours of hours of inking, coloring and even some painting I finished this piece of artwork X3
Takkie the youthful wolfie stands there into the pool as he wants to go swim to cool off some since it's a hot and sunny weather there at his little private place there.
Doing a pose for all of us showing off his broad back and his solid built legs and even his right triceps and forearm muscles ^^
This is a picture for my dear puppy
takotakenzo who's one of the best puppy-bros I can think of. He's a kind and helpful wolfie boy and even some playful at times^^
I hope you all like it =3

Well, i consider myself a decent artist..just...not for the bigger stuff yet. XD. It's mostly because I get distracted. BUT, when I actually sit down and work on something...it ends up coming out great.
At the same time, I may think my stuff is rushed..but apparently there's several people out there who love how I color and texture things x3

Such beautiful coloring. That muscles look strong, taut, powerful, and downright smexy.
You did a great job on the background. The sparkling water, the breeze visible in the rolling clouds...
And I've always thought... It must take a long time to get all of those colors and shadings in.

Great sculpted look, very good anatomical layout, seems perfect muscular placement and enlargement. Like a living anatomy chart, you could practically just draw lines off the bulges and say "Latissimus Dorsai" and so forth. (Not even I know the names for all them.)
It stands out without looking hyper, just buff, built, strong, yet lithe - still animalistic.

Well, this one looks pretty great! :) I've had the pleasure of watching the picture's "creating process", so I can tell from sketch over ink to finished version, that you have done a great job indeed.
Something is very interesting, though... the line art was much more flat (of course!) but some parts (especially the butt) have looked "better" in the ink line art version. I guess, the colouring did quite an extreme shading on the buttocks, so that this area looks very plastical but less "round" right now. It's hard to explain but I think I just liked the butt a little bit more in the line art version. ^^ It still looks great - but the buttock is less soft and more "hard" now. I suppose you could smash a walking stick or crowbar against THIS butt... and nothing would happen! XD Oooooookay, enough "butt talk". There's plenty of other parts in this picture.
Though... I still LOVE your solution to the "how can we put a tail through a speedo" problem!!!!!!!!! Yay for these buttons. ^^
And I just saw something.... I guess, the "less round" aspect derives from my DARK monitor here!! :O Yeah... it's because of the dark blue parts, that some "butt-lines" cannot be seen anymore, right?? I bet, this is because of my dark screen. *checks* Yes, it only APPEARS that the lines are melting into each other. But they are NOT!
More things to tell!
For example, I really like how much love and detail you put into your backgrounds. Yes, all the tiny details are important and you've drawn them with so much passion and love... it's really amazing. And I like such amount of detail. Especially, when the details are NOT stealing the focus from the main figure.
The character looks splendid! I don't have to tell you anythin about anatomy - you're perfect in this matter. ;) It looks extremely great and despite of the huge muscle build, it does NOT look "overpowered" oder overdone. No, I really enjoy watching it!
The character's stance is powerful and strong and the contrast here is excellent: the contrast between the strong, hard and heavy character and the fine, fluid liquid of the water.
And the soft windy clounds also serve their purpose: it is a background filler and also expresses lightness and a happy feeling.
One proposal for the next time you draw water:
Maybe, you can add a "reflection" of that character on the surface of the water, hehehehehehe. *evil grin*
And these "stars" are fine, but don't exaggerate here!!! ^^
Overall a splendid work of traditional art.
(BTW, I have just printed the A3 version of my "DJ sketch"... and it is HUUUUUGE! BUT I will draw it in A3!!!)

well it's just a hobby, because I think the human anatomy, especially the muscle system is something very interesting and makes men look like something very beautiful^^ (women too as long as they're not too muscular, just light athletic, like the olympic swimmers).
