Aah~ The Sleeping Dragon l3 i loved reading the history of The War of the Three Kingdoms, Zhuge Liang is simply a brilliant stradegist and one of my favorites was the victory that he obtained with Wu by sending Wei's navi down in flames! Simply brilliant how he predicted for the winds to change at such a precise moment, my Top 5 favorites aside from Zhuge Liang would also be Zhou Yu for being another formidable stradegist(with the goddamn ponytail though if i use him), Lu bu for his fierceness and monstrous bloodlust (when hes not horribly kicking my ass when i start as a noob) Pang Tong for being such a wonderful aprentice for Zhuge Liang, Guan Yu for being quite wise and having a good heart for his brothers and the future of Shu and last would be Zhang He for his primary choice of weapons and way of fighting plus he was the first and best character i used when i played the game. Anyways enough flapping my gums you did an awesome job on this, you even added his little smirk for when his stradegy goes executed perfectly on the battlefield.
At Chi Bi there were a lot of factirs of victory - one naughty poem about Zhou Yu's wife (which Zhuge Liang made to provoke Zhou Yu to enter in war against Cao Cao), some fake letters, one "wise" advise of Pang Tong to Cao Cao (about linking ships), one fake treason of Huang Gai and some Zhuge Liang magic :)
Oh, if only Guan Yu killed Cao Cao then he met him after Chi Bi battle... War would be over.
Then Zhou Yu died his last words were: "Gods! Why you send me to the Earth at the same time as Zhuge Liang. Zhou Yu could be the greatest strategist. But he is only the second.
Thank you :)
Actually I have another cat portrait of him here

Hehe, yes theyre history had many ironic twists, and also id like to add.
You KNOW you's a pathetic soldier when you get pwned by a feather waving stradegist. Lol i just had to say it because its just so horribly funny when i see such epic officers fall to him. Also, you can NEVER say Zhuge Liang aint badass since he made Stradegist, feathers, formal clothing and war look amazing together WHILE looking good doing it hehe.

Yep that was awesome trick but it is not only Zhuge pride.
There are a lot of people who helped - Zhou Yu, Pang Tong, Huang Gai and many others.
Oh, if only Guan Yu just once wasn't such noble chevalier and killed Cao Cao after battle Chi Bi Han dynasty would be restored.

Ha! I thought that was Zhuge Liang. Yay for intuition being right!
I was always more partial to Sima Yi and Lu Xun, however, though they both get downplayed in Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Sima Yi won in the end, hence he is often painted as a scheming villain, and Lu Xun gets one shining moment during Yi Ling where he is not portrayed as an upstart like the rest of Wu. Fascinating novel (and history) regardless.

:)
Sima Yi? Betting on winning team? :)
As for me, Sima Yi was too cautious and less decisive. For example in trick with open gates and Zhuge was playing on the lute at a top of tower. Sima Yi thought it is a trap... but at least he could send some scouts to check.
Lu Xun... his story is tragic. He was loyal to Wu, who killed his family and took his land. It's sad.
Second my favorite, after Zhuge,i t is Zhou Yu. He was second most talented strategist in whole story. He just had bad luck to live at the same time as Zhuge.
Then Zhou Yu died his last words were: "Gods! Why you send me to the Earth at the same time as Zhuge Liang".
Even if he planed to kill Sleeping dragon after Chi Bi...

Sima Yi cheating Cao Pi out of the kingdom always seems to be the shining moment of awesome for him, even if it was late in the story.
Poor Lu Xun got screwed in the end :<
I didn't expect to find someone who knows (let alone be interested in) the Three Kingdoms era! You're epic.

Thank you very much :)
I read book couple month ago and now it is my favorite book of all times. Just love it. Masterpiece.
Oh, I wish I could find book "The Investiture of the Gods (Fengshen Yanyi)" translated in my language. I really want to know real Da Ji story. I heard she was some sick and crazy babe. Wikibooks has chapters but my English pretty sucks for such type of literature.
But still there are "Water Margin" and "Journey to the West" (which I never was able to finish. Something always interrupts)
