A model I did of the Hot Rod from Half Life 2 Episode 2.

I did this quite a while ago, but never had a good camera to take photos of it.

Basically what I did was buy a high quality model of a 1969 Charger, and did considerable fabrication to turn it into the beat up Hot Rod from the game. Most of the structural bars were made with the plastic molding that holds the parts together, that were stretched and bent with a candle to make most everything else. I cut the doors off of the body panels, and sealed in the rear of the door frame with portions of the doors... And lots and lots of other stuff. The rear wheels I grabbed off of a kit that let you build a 68 Nova either stock or drag setup. (They're the oversized slicks, but I textured them so they weren't slick anymore). The gnome and crowbar were made from sculpey, and aren't attached, just sitting there.

Due to the fact that this has significant fabrication and customization involved, I'd say its good by the AUP.
