You might be wondering just why Air Clip is grinning so deviously right now. No it's not just because he has a cutie like Cold Front wrapped up in his tentacles. You see, when your body is a mass of malleable slime that you can shape and alter at will, it's a lot of fun to make whatever you want to wear and dress anyone else up in clothing made out of you. Air loves him some pretty dresses, and he just met a stallion who loves dressing in them just as much!

See, Air is lacking a bit in the self control department. He lives by the phrase Don't Knock It Until You Try It, and makes sure the thing people try on are his outfits. Sometimes the reaction is positive, with the subject enjoying their new (totally free) dress. Other times it's a result of "thanks but no thanks" and once they make it clear they don't like it even once wearing it, Air will absorb the goo back into his body and let them be. On the rare occasion the subject is particularly mean spirited or insulting to him, they might find their new outfit staying on far longer than they would like and doing more to irritate them than regular clothing possibly could.

In likewise happier cases, the subject of Air's attention likes it but won't admit it, but Cold was dressed up before Air even laid a hand on him. There is every chance that the gooey boi might go a little 'overboard' on the things he's going to ooze onto Cold, but he is much more open to criticism and adjustments from someone who is clearly as enthusiastic as he is about pretty outfits. The tentacles and embrace are to help the pegasus learn to get comfortable with the fact that what he'll be wearing is very much alive and very much able to shift and morph to better suit either of their tastes.
