**OH LOOK...NO BRIEFS!!! Yes, I feel fine don't worry.**
A DnD char. of mine that sadly does not get a lot of screen-time due to the DM being...well... **Description of DM's mental state redacted due to common decency filters**
Dravin Shadowborn is a shadow dragonborn Gray Necromancer...a mage that has no issue with raising the dead to serve under his command for the most part. Monsters, murderers, rapists, bandits, scum of the earth, are all fair game when it comes to his necromantic powers. However he refuses to raise into servitude those who have earned their eternal rest and if needed he will ask the spirit of the departed first if he may use their corpse for his purposes and then return them to their rest once his need of them passes.
He does have a penchant for dark humor, equally dark and morbid tastes but he is in no way evil. He just really likes the look that most think is rooted in evil. He works in the cemetery as the local undertaker performing rites to keep the dead from actually rising as the undead. Unless in defense of the city that they used to reside in. He essentially skirts the line between what is evil and what is good but never crosses fully into the realm of darkness even though some of his ideas and schemes might seem...morally questionable.
Dravin is always accompanied by his skeletal servant, Samael. Formed from his command over necromancy and the Shadowfell (a plane of shadows in the DnD universe) Samael is considered to be one of the undead but is different then most. He is intelligent, has a distinct personality and is completely and utterly loyal to Dravin. He preforms most of the manual labor within Dravin's home (which is a crypt of course) and fetches ingredients and other tools while his master studies and preforms his embalming services for the city. Dravin treats him as a trusted servant and confidant and not as a slave though. In combat Samael works to protect his master at all times and can be good for offensive purposes as well. He has a breath weapon that blinds his opponents and can and will wield swords and bows that are imbued with necrotic energies to help take down all that stand before his master. If destroyed however, Dravin can call him back at any time so he usually is the first one to check for any traps or other dangers ahead of his master. He does complain a little about it but understands his role and that his master honestly does care about him.

Actually in the game...he...kinda managed to basically take an entire kobold camp and make them his minons of a small little side crypt that he will be using to store his excess undead. No besty yet though but he combined his draconic looks with a casting of the fear spell and made the leader of the kobolds his bitch...now they worship him as their god.
And if they know whats good for them...will continue to do so...
