After seeing videos of a game called Due Process and Remembering XCOM Chimera Squad, I always though it was odd that for advance weapons that fire energy bolts still use bullet-like cases as well as mags

So when thinking about it and from boredom I made something that would explain how most normal ballistic weapons or weapons that still have a modern look and feel fire energy bolts and that being GEL Ammo

Put it simply GEL Ammo is cheap style of ammo that keeps the power and usefulness of Energy weapons without being highly cost effective and using more reliable resources, this does not get rid of older ballistic ammo as it was made more cheaper and more available as powder in GEL Ammo is not as explosive or dangerous as Gunpowder of Ballistic though it lacks or has not tactical advance like GEL can be set to stun or disable then kill
