Let's be honest - I always wanted to name a song that! This was written very recently, being only finished yesterday. As it was the last one I needed for the album, I tried to make it as different as possible in chord progression from the others, as I realized a lot of the others were beginning to sound similar. Like Lazarus before it, it uses a couple of new instruments.
As for the subject - the Internet gives us a strange anonymity where we feel comfortable among who we'd normally consider to be strangers, and behind this anonymity, we separate ourselves into different communities where we can be ourselves. But (particularly from what people say about this community) we're still insecure, and attack others that we think of as 'strange' because of our own fear of being seen that way ourselves.
So this is about standing up for yourself and others, and knowing that you don't need to be accepted by everyone to be all right, no matter what your preferred affinity is. To live and let live. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. (Whoever thought that phrase up deserves a medal, it's fantastic.)

[Lyrics]
Trapped in our corners of the world
And never coming out
We're falling deeper
Hiding behind our secret lives
For fear of them knowing who we are
The beauty of the world
Is not what you can see
But still you will attack what you don't know
I will be there to defend
I will save the others from their shame
To live and let live, in the end
In the eye of the beholder, we are all the same
Spreading their anger everywhere
Ignorance and hate is all I see
From all these places
Never give up, I'll stand forever
To save them from what I used to be
No matter what I do
There'll still be more of you
The ones who would destroy what they don't know
But no one was born to be less than you
Don't attack because of your own fear
I will be there to defend
I will save the others from your blame
To live and let live, in the end
In the eye of the beholder, we are all the same
If you won't stop the war
I'll fight forevermore
My words shall be my sword
As I defend this reality
I will be there to defend
I will save the others from your hate
To live and let live, in the end
In the eye of the beholder
I will always be there to defend
I will save the others from their shame
To live and let live, in the end
In the eye of the beholder, we are all the same
Eye of the beholder
Don't be afraid
Born to be the ones we are
Eye of the beholder

it's completely different yet the same, it's all in what the veiw is in the eyes of the beholder...
alright obviously some credit should be given to any one who USES it because it can mean one thing coming from one person or another coming from someone completely different. and I repeat my self:
it all depends on the eyes of the beholder.
Really GOOD, keep It UP! :) I'll be looking foreward to your next one.

Sounds similar to "Thousand Lives" in some areas, which isn't exactly a bad thing, since I quite liked that one. One comment is that perhaps you could use some post-processing (like with Audacity, an open source audio editor) to add a bit more bass to your compilations.
Anyway, excellent! keep it up!

I use Modplug Tracker, which is getting on a bit now but is what I've grown used to over the last nine years of using it - http://www.modplug.com
Recently I've also been using Guitar Pro 5 to produce MIDIs and tab conversions of my songs.

I did have one of the DOS Eye of the Beholder games (EOB2), so you could say that the title was a little throwback to that even if the song wasn't about it :) I never got anywhere at all in it, though, being killed by spiders or small tortoises well before ever reaching the upper floors.
