Torture does not work for divulging information. Under great distress, a person would admit to just about anything to get it to stop. However, torture does have other uses. When you need craft a narrative with your hapless victim, or to send a message to some rival organization.

Geldra is not in the business of torture. She prefers the red stain of truth, rather than ‘truth’, on her hands. But she cannot speak for Niiche in the same way. That asura possesses a rather flexible attitude towards moral predicaments such as this, and her expertise surpasses Geldra’s own. How Niiche came across this particular outpost at that particular time, knowing only this many guards were available at making their rounds was a mystery Geldra could not solve, but now in front of her, restrained and just waking up, is Justiciar Sauel Soulier of the White Mantle - an individual responsible for a laundry list of Kryta’s grievances. The Ash Legion has no stake in the Mantle’s territory of the Maguuma Wastes beyond routine info-probing, but Geldra does have favours to repay – as does Niiche to Geldra herself. Perhaps one day she could sit down with that sociopathic sharkrat, off the clock, and exchange stories. Maybe pick up a few tricks of the trade. Until then, Soulier. Geldra has many tools that will alight her ears with White Mantle secrets.

And afterwards? Well, Niiche has her own secrets to give to the Mantle, and Soulier will be the perfect messenger.
