I was also very scared but finally we have to go for it, I followed a video.
1) start with the line of the body which gives the posture
2) make 2 rectangles, one for the bust and the other for the pelvis
3) we add the limbs and the head, we mark the joints to see if the proportions are correct
4) the rest is done rather by itself, you have to progress little by little and really be patient before making sharper contours
