So I couldn't help but jump ahead in my narrative for Lavender, just so I could put this idea down solid because I really really love it as a way to explain how Lavvy will someday evolve. I don't have any plans to do so in the near future; I still have stories I want to show in her current state. But I just wanted to get this idea for a story arc off my chest XD

You may be asking how Lavender got into that giant green cast there. Well, let's just say it involves an attempt at an IRL BLJ (Backwards Long-Jump) gone horribly wrong. Turns out she is fully capable of pulling it off. What she isn't capable of, however, is sticking a landing at a speed that rivals most high-end supercars.

After a few days of surgeries and settings, she's now back at home in a very all-encompassing full-body fiberglass shell. Her girlfriends knew how much she liked green, but what they didn't know was how much the only shade of green the hospital had was so like that of a Metapod. There aren't any openings for her eyes; one of the meaner ghosts that haunts the business complex they live in drew those on in the night.

On a more dire note, the medical staff that operated on Lavvy informed her household that she will never recover from all her injuries, requiring this cast for the rest of her life. Well, as long as she remains a Rattata. Turns out her only hope of being free of her green prison will be for her girlfriends to carry her into battles, using an Exp. Share to give her precious XP needed to evolve her into a Raticate.
