lucky lucky lucky. XD I've heard a few hurricanes kinda skirt the side of the northeast coast, but wasn't quite sure where you were. I know if I had that many trees around me, I'd be dead meat within the first hurricane. x.x Considering i had like two trees behind the house a good 80 ft or so away, and one hurricane knocked them both down and they landed near the house...yeah, can't imagine being surrounded by that many trees xD

That is one beautiful, huge backyard. I look forward to finding a holiday home with plenty of bushland in the future, somewhere in the Australian outback. Won't be anywhere near as green, however the red dirt here definitely makes up for the lack of green. And I think the bugs and snakes are going to be the worst to deal with here of the wildlife. Kangaroos are just dinner, and foxes help clean up table scraps when you turn your back. Or run away with your packets of jerkey.
