I don't know how anyone could get this picture. With the surf cranking like that, it had to be one of two things... either a 2 second pause before Hunter was paddling out into the surf, or about 2 seconds before he collapsed to the beach too exhausted to move from hours of working the waves. I lean toward the latter for the only reason that I don't think it'd be possible to get Hunter to turn away from those waves unless he'd already pushed himself to the limit.
