This one dates back to when I was just first starting to experiment with digital coloring. He was a character I was developing for a sci-fi themed comic I had in mind at the time, but never followed through on.

Despite the fact that my coloring skills were a bit lackluster back then, compared to my later work, this guy seems to have become an iconic part of my collection. I'm constantly hearing from nostalgic fans who tell me that this was one of the first images that introduced them to the fandom, over a decade ago =)
