One of the drawings I started during my most recent Picarto stream. That stream happened on Halloween Night, which was also the same day we lost my favorite Bond actor Sean Connery.
So I did an anthro MLP tribute drawing to the late Mr. Connery. Now every Bond movie needs a Bond girl, and Rarity seemed like a natural for the part.
Since there's a strong association with the Walther firearm company and the Bond property I gave James a Walther P5 Compact with a suppressor. For Rarity the classic Walther PPK with its own suppressor. For Jame's P5 I had photo reference to work with, but for Rarity's PPK I just tried to remember what I think the PPK looks like.
I'll be streaming again on Picarto this Saturday 11/14/20 starting at 5:30pm Pacific.

Splendid! The way you've portrayed Rarity over the years really does make her seem like Bond-girl material. [I most confess that I don't know the MLP source material, but I do know Bond quite well, haha]

With the kind of suppressor on Rarity's PPK, it gives the impression that she's a size queen. LOL. A-n-y-way, on the show Rarity has impressed me a being a bit prissy but, I could easily imagine her as a Bond girl, even down to being an assassin-type Bond girl. As for the PPK, having been a sporting goods salesman many, many years ago, I remember how the PPK looks and you did a smashing job on it. If you hadn't said you didn't have a reference, I would have thought you were holding one while doing the drawing.
Interesting factoid: Mr. Connery said in an interview that he hated James Bond. Thought they were silly and he was doing the films for the money. IIRC, he never watched any of his Bond movies after they were released, except maybe for the premiers, when he was expected to appear.
