Nala is probably served a meal for Vitani and I can't guess what is feared the most by Timon - a bunch of new cubs to babysit or fact that he may be in Vitani's menu for a breakfast (sure not xD)
Also I guess Nala is requesting babysit for the cubs and Timon can't say no to a Queen :D And he is really scared that this time it's going to be far more than just one :)

The initial thought was actually not that far. With the exeption of the very first months, Vitani did spend her entire live in the Outlands. A struggling childhood of hardship and starvation. For her, returning to the Pride lands was a experience like the arrival in paradise.
So i wanted her stuffed like she never was before. And expecting.
However, there was a little problem. As far i can remember, Pride land lions are never shown with bones. So what else you could use as remainders of a feast? Fish would be something new, fruits are also a bad fit and there are no leftovers from insects. So we stuck with the bones.

Did i really odered this amazing artwork and never said anything about it? Shame on me, it turned out so well.
Vitani is something special to me. It takes guts to endure such a long time in the Outlands and then in the final battle, join forces with the enemy against the own mother. She had to be revarded and now, she is.
So nice to see the different lion designs on one picture. I wonder if over time, Vitani will also turn softer and more rounded as she was in exile. Well, one part of her already did.
