Doodled out while at FC crashing in Seth's room. (I admit, I'm not entirely sure who Seth -is-, other then a really nice guy who doesn't mind twenty people crammed into his room.)
I was a sleep-deprived and "Samurai Champloo" was on. Somehow, it all muddled together to form this.

Heh! I get the impression that he's trying to look cool and a bit dangerous even though he can't see a thing from under that hat. ^_^;;
The lineart looks a bit different from your usual artwork. The muscles are kinda edgy and stylized. It's nae bad, but I think I like your round style more.

I do so love that hat, but it is a major design flaw. <g>
And yes! Very different then my usual artwork. I think the pencil work took five minutes, if that. Quick, angular strokes, didn't even lay down guidelines first. I was trying for a more stylised feel to it. Deffenitly not something I want to make my standard, but it was fun to experamint and see if I could do it. :) Sort of a JLA look to him.

(Ah...I really need to make it to FC some year. It sounds like such fun!)
Inspired by Samurai Champloo? I would have guessed some other series, but it's cool either way!
(Arrgh! There's this one furry tabletop RPG, but I can't honestly remember what it's called. Anyway, I thought that the character might have come from that.)

All Japanese people are blind and 'see' through Daredevil style supersenses combined with 'chi-sight'. This is why their television is so colorful. If you don't overload the color, then you aren't able to hear the photon receptors of the TV sizzling and you wont have any idea what it's showing.
The Japanese are a strange and mysterious people.
And now you know!
