Another grey paper commission. It was interesting doing an mix of egyptian and modern costumes bits. Making up costumes is one of my fav parts of doing pics. 11x14 ink and acrylic on grey paper.

ah, here she is, in a different garb this time. i like the concerned look on her face, and the curious effect on her wand. nice detailing, too.

i wonder if her owner, John Boulton, is still alive, and active.

I've been having a bit of a life-crash, which has been making me withdraw more and more from the world and reducing my contact and involvement with friends. I've relocated several times and am hoping things start to improve soon.

It is a most excellent thing to see coloured grounds. I have seen fine work by Albrecht altdorfer using white ink on a black ground. the use of white ink here is what is really fine, it gives a real sense of volume and depth.
