knicknacks are free to make their body whatever they like, but many tend towards one of the handful of "classic" bodystyles

many enjoy taking the shape of Mom, in some form or another. especially as the traditional carriage-pulling knacks are thought to have been some of the first created, and at the time shared her shape.

although baroness bramble does, in fact, sometimes be two people at once for fun

Thoughts:
1. My first impulse to post was a joke about vampiric squash (actually a superstition in some parts of the world; turns out vampire pumpkins are a thing too.)
2. I'd initially assumed the balls the carriage is supported on spun in place, but with the drag marks behind them, I have to wonder if they're fixed. (Cute suspension system, though.)
3. It's interesting how the three guards (landsknechts?) are reacting. Especially the ambushed-looking one on the far right.
4. The guards are interesting, and the baroness is that lovely cross of intriguing and intimidating, but the carriage-puller is ADORABLE.
5. I like!

the road is just very moist, so the whole thing's sunk in and left some deep tracks
and these are the noble fighter-dogs of the sacred pumpkin forests
because Land can be altered by the authority of those that live there, land often slowly modifies itself to suit the personality of the people that live there
which can create a selfsustaining loop of ideas such as a place where trees grow pumpkins and so you worship pumpkins and dress as pumpkins

she's a natty girl, and doesn't grow her own antlers by default
but antlers aren't just gender markers in many place in UWi, they also serve as markers for being the kind of person who wants to thrown head against someone else in big clattering clashes! so if you can't grow your own antlers, it's considered equally good to just wear them on your head anyway!

This is super great and I love the level of detail you went through in this, from their outfits, to their various weapons, and that gorgeous stained glass in the carriage. Love the background, too, from the travel marker to the pumpkin forest. I would love to get lost in a gourd wood.
I admittedly would also really love a headband with an antler on it so I could just run into things more than I already do. It doesn't have to be an impressive five-point antler, I would settle for even some small cow-type horns or something.
