Pretty much everyone agree that Cookie has the wrong mindset. Right now is unlikely that just a cheap cheerleader costume will do miracles for Muko and Kalita reputation so far, and Kalita persoanlity does not help. Plus Cookie herself is kind of infamous. Right now the heel angle is the best option to start, and who said heels always lose? As combagals fights has evolved so far, i think is matter only on the skills of the girls in the ring.

That is interesting. Though I am in the opinion that maybe Cookie has a great point on not soiling on Adel's sacrificial wishes for Muko's future. There needs to be way to settle the costume theme to satisfy everyone involved.

Also also, Muko could end up being "el santo" for this universe. And end up in movies fighting mummies and mad scientist while being the most awesoem being alive.

Hmmm, I don't know now. Everyone was having fun trying to get the theme for the costumes. However, Cookie does put up a solid argument of her concern of having her combagals dress as heels. She doesn't want Muko to piss on the memory of Adel's legacy. It makes to me. Adel became a heel for crippling Peki, and refused to tag to soil Muko with her dirty mark of a heel. Then she ended her career by losing to Nyarai, all out of the hopes of Muko replacing her as the face in her memory. Sure, Adel did not actually get killed from her sacrifice. But..... rather her image as a beloved heroic wrestling figure is dead and so was her successful career. So I can understand now how being a hell can seem like being disrespectful to Adelgund's wishes. Surely there needs to be a way to make some sort of theme for Muko and Kalita to kayfabe that would fit their personalities yet be faces in the ring out of respect for Adel.

I am confused about the Heel and Face thing. I know Heel turns are weird since there isn’t really any hints to the change (like Udina from Mass Effect)

basically they are wrestling terms for the 'good guy' and the 'bad guy' face is short for baby face and heels stomp others into the ground.

Sometimes there isn't. Sometimes a solution presents itself and the heel turn seems like the best solution. Much like Udina and Hans from Frozen, the heel turn gets you what you want when you want it. Humanity's survival? Udina sided with Cerberus. Become king? Han let Anna die.

Kind of a dick move of Cookie to use Adelgund's sacrifice like that. I think that Muko and Kalita should be heels since their tarnished reputation means they won't be accepted as faces. Heels are not always hated or losers. Roora is popular even though she fights dirty and Tanka Talon beat Snuggly brutally. It means that Cookie's argument is based more about popularity than practicality.

Infact this is the point. The "heels always lose" is not good argument, expecially considering the existance of "heel face turn" and the fact that some heels are very popular by their own. But here i think the point is that Cookie does not want just for her combagal to have success but to have the exact same type of popualrity she was used to. Remeber the "living vicariously through her combagals" thing.

To Fez That is an excellent point. Cookie wants her combagals to be beloved by the public and be successful in part because she would be beloved and be successful through them, and thus feel like she is reliving the good old days with her Fortune Factory.

Considering Kalita's attitude maybe having them be heels is the correct move. For 1 heels can win championships and that gives rise to interesting storylines, 2 people can love heels even if they're overly hated. Look at how the Undertaker and Mankind got started. As far as I know they were heels, and the people loved to hate them. Cookie is being very closed minded about this, and surprisingly unimaginative. To be honest, if this is the route she wants to go then maybe have Muko and Kalita be opposing forces and face one another in the ring with rigged outcome matches. Then they have no way of failing and can both still get a pretty good revenue stream until Kalita has a face turn and the two start going after the greater evils of blah blah plot.
