I remember an old arcade/neo geo game based on Ripley's rescue of Newt (but greatly expanded) where the default weapon is a smartgun with infinite ammo instead of the iconic pulse rifle/flamethrower combo. It was really cool.

I got a book on the production, props and everything else and one of the colonial marines too. That was an explosion of creativity on that film. there's some guys who are building a powerloader on you tube too. just sayin. incredible art as ever, and good on the gun detail!
