Chapter 9: Two Worlds Collide!!



(In the Monsuno Universe...)

The sounds of roars and bellows could be heard all throughout Sanctuary City or what’s left of it. The Blue-Moon Tribe and the Blood-Moon Tribe were engaged in battle. Lok as usual, was fighting with Back-slash; the White Bear and the Black Wolf were grappling each other. “Come on, buddy!” Chase and Team Core-Tech cheered on. “Take him down!!”

“You can’t win, Lok!!” Back-slash roared. “I’ll drain your blood and spill your guts on the sand.” Lok growled back. “You talk too much!!” He roared before punching him in the face. *POW!!* Back-slash was thrown to the side, crashing into some houses. “You, give up, yet?!” he roared. Back-slash growled again, his body and eyes glowing red. “The only one who’s giving up is you!” He roared, before charging at Lok again.

Up in the sky, Neo-Quickforce, Evo, and Sky-fall were fighting against Spike-bat, Poison-wing and Shadow-hornet. Lights of blue and red danced in the sky. “Come on, horse!!” Shadow-hornet taunted as he and Neo-Quickforce blasted beams of red and white energy at each other. “Is this the best you can do?!”

“No...” The Hippogriff shot back, before his horns glowed brightly. “This is!!” Before the Hornet knew it, he was barreled right down into the ground, courtesy of Quickforce’s Light Barrage. “Nice going, Lord Quick-force!!” Sky-fall called out, before narrowly missing some of Spike-bat's blasts. “I’ll be more worried about myself if I were you!” The Bat spoke up, letting out horrible screeching laughter.

Meanwhile, Evo was sending blasts of lightning and wind at Poison-wing who easily dodged them. “What’s-s-s-s the matter, bird?” The Blood-Serpent taunted. “It s-s-s-seems-s-s-s your aim is-s-s growing s-s-soft as-s-s-s you are!” “Why don’t you come closer and I’ll show how soft I am?!” The blue Pheonix cried out as she spread her wings, sending gusts of winds swirling all around Poison-wing, making him disorientated.

“Only a little breeze!!” The Blood-Serpent tried to make a come-back. “You think that will...Argh!!” Poison-wing screamed as lightning struck him from all around. “Never underestimate a priestess of the sky!!” Evo reminded, as Poison-Wing fell from the sky, charred and smoking all over.

Back on the ground, the other Monsuno were having battles of their own. Nite-stone was facing against Freedom-striker; the Fox and the Jackal circling each other. “Now, this is a meal I have been waiting all my life for.” Freedom-striker snarled, licking his chops. Nite-stone growled back. “Sorry,” he replied. “but I don’t intend to be anyone’s lunch!!” With a loud growl, the Jackal and the Fox charged at each other, clawing and biting at each other.

Charger and Deep-six were fighting Fire-walker and Snap-claw. “You should have stayed in your Core, Shark!!” Fire-walker roared as he and Deep-six wrestled. “You fight like a fish out of water!”

“How is it you and Snap-claw survived?!” The Tiger-Shark demanded, flipping the eight-legged Crocodile over and throwing him into a house, making it smash and collapse. “Dom Pyro destroyed your Cores and sent your Esssence back to Mother Earth!!”

Snap-claw laughed, his large pincers clacking loudly. “Oh, we were sent back to Earth, but Doctor Klipse was able to salvage leftover Essence from our Cores fragments and that was enough to recreate our Cores and make us reborn!!” Charger snorted. “Then, it will be our pleasure to send you back to Mother Earth once more!” He replied, pawing the ground as he charged at the Lobster.

Meanwhile, Long-fang, Boost and Batteram were dealing with Twin-sting, Gold-spear and Librax. “If you surrender,” The Red-Tiger growled. “I’ll promise to grant you a swift and painless death.” Batteram snorted back. “You should know by now, cat.” He replied. “The Blue-Moon Tribe doesn’t give up so easily.”

“Then, you will die right here and now!” Gold-spear roared, before leaping at him, only for Boost to knock him away. “Your fight is with me, Butcher!” The Great Wolf snarled, as they wrestled and clawed at each other. “Thanks, my Brother!” Batteram called as he and Librax locked horned with each other.

“Come on, Ms Spider!” Long-fang spoke up as he dodged Twin-sting’s blasts from her stingers. “Do you really think you can hit me with that?!” The Spider made a hissing sound. “Oh, don’t worry, kitty.” She replied. “You won’t be laughing when I make a fur rug out of you!”

Finally, there was Clubber, Mystic-blade, Babeon and Glow-blade. The Hydra and the Baboon were engaged in a wrestling match with Spike-lash while Clubber and Mystic-blade were both tackling Toxi-claw. “This barely tickles!!” The Crab taunted. “Is that the best you can do?!” He sent bright red slashes of energy, only for Clubber and Mystic-blade to dodge them.

“Your arrogance will be your undoing, Spike-lash.” Clubber snorted. His horns glowing at their edges. “You should know pride always comes before a fall.” “The only one to fall is you, old cow!!” Toxi-claw roared as he charged forward, only for Mystic-blade to restrain him with his coils.

“I believe you are misunderstood, crab.” The Winged Serpent spoke. Raising his wings, his coils glowed brightly. “You lack focus and discipline, like your War-chief.” With that, he let out a loud screech in the Crab’s face, making him scream in pain.

While disorientated, Mystic-blade threw him toward Clubber, who whacked him away with his large club-like tail. Toxi-claw crashed into a row of buildings. “I may be old, but my aim is as good as ever!” The Behemoth chuckled.

All the while, Team Core-Tech were cheering their Monsuno on. They have retreated a far distance while the Monsuno battled “Oh, yeah!!!” Jinja cheered. “You Go, Blue-Moon!!” “Yeah, mates!!” Dax added. “Give’em one for each of us, and an extra for the Doctor!!”

“I already informed Ace and Trey about our location.” Bren told his friends. “They’re on the way here with reinforcements!” “Great!” Chase replied. “We just need to hold them out long enough to get here!” “We best hurry!” Beyal explained. “Who knows what Eklipse would be planning next!”

Unfortunately for Beyal, something was happening but it wasn’t Eklipse. He had sensed something stir in the air and on the ground, something that he never felt before.



(Back, in the Disney Universe)

Maleficent stood at the wide base of the Forbidden Mountains, far away from prying eyes. On a ledge, high above the base, she placed the four gems on a small stone structure while smiling arrogantly. “Excellent!” she cackled in glee. “Now, with the gems in place, I’ll be able to bring forth the monsters in this world. Now, to begin the ritual.”

She concentrated all her magic and focus, her body glowing a dark-green aura. Lighting flashed across the sky and great currents of wind swirled around her. In a loud and clear voice, she called:

To all the darkness and evil of Hell, I call upon thee!

To obliterate my enemies, to take revenge, listen to my plea!

With the magic of the four Elemental Divine Statues, I ask to grant me power!

To rent time and space at this very hour!

Bring forth from another world, beasts of great power and might!

And when they come, allow that I ensnare their minds like the coming of the night!

To enslave their will, to force to obey!

NOW IS THE TIME, FOR ALL I AM WORTH... BRING THEM HERE SO THAT ALL WILL PAY!!!

The storm grew more intense as Maleficent’s words echoed throughout the sky. A large magic circle appeared on the base of the ground, dark purple with strange symbols and writing from an ancient tongue. The artefacts glowed brightly in their unique colors and beams of their magic shot up into the sky!

The combined magic circle shot a great beam of pristine purple light, reaching high into the heavens, travelling through the depths of space and time and breaking the boundaries of reality itself. Maleficent watched in glee, soon she would harness the greatest force in the world!



(Back in the Monsuno Universe)

Lok was blasted back into some storehouses, courtesy of Back-slash. “It will be a lot easier for you to lay down and die like a dog!!” The Black Wolf roared. Lok just shook of the debris of him and leapt back in his feet, punching Back-slash into a row of shophouses. “You should know by now, Back-slash!” Lok shot back. “I’m too stubborn to die!”

Sanctuary City was almost demolished completely. The Blue-Moon Tribe regrouped around Lok at the center of the city, facing the Blood-Moon Tribe. The humans watched nearby. “This is it, Lok!” Chase called out. “Ready to end this!!”

“Come on, Back-slash!!” Klipse called out too. “Destroy Team Core-Tech, make them suffer for everything they done!!” Both Monsuno Tribes glared at each other, one with hatred while another with determination.

“Ready, my brothers?” Lok asked the rest, who grinned back. “To de end, my brutha!” Babeon replied, with the rest following suit. Back-slash also addressed his Tribe. “Come, warriors!!” He roared. “This is our chance to wipe out Lok and his Tribe for good!!”

*BOOM!!!!*

A great deafening booming sound interrupted the fight. Both human and Monsuno looked around in shock. “What was that!?” Dax demanded. “Maybe, it’s one of Eklipse cheating tactics again!” Jinja angrily replied. “It’s probably a trap set by him” “No, my friends!” Beyal spoke up. “Look to the sky!!”

Sure enough, the sky darkened and dark clouds circled around the town. “What’s going on?!” Chase asked, shocked. “That’s not possible!!” Bren added. “There was no weather report on a storm today!!” Klipse and his allies were just asked shocked. “Doctor Emmanuel, what is the meaning of this?!” Charlemagne demanded. “Why are you asking me?!” The Mad Doctor shot back. “I’m not doing anything!!”

Suddenly, a large pristine circle appeared and shot down from the heavens and onto both Monsuno Tribes to the shock of everyone present. “What the bloody hell is that?!” Dax screamed. At the same time, another circle of the same color with strange symbols appeared underneath the Monsuno, forming a barrier that enclosed both the Blue-Moon and the Blood-Moon Tribes, making them roar in confusion.

“What’s happening?!” Lok asked. “What’s going on?!” “Lok!!” Chase cried out as he and his friends watched in horror. “Bren, what’s happening to the Monsuno!?” Jinja asked, just as scared. “I don’t know!!” Bren yelled back. “I’m just as scared as you are!!”

“What sort of trickery is this?!” Back-lash growled. “Shadow-hornet, get us out of here!!” “Yes, War-chief!” The Hornet replied, before blasting energy beams at the strange barrier, but to everyone’s shock, nothing happened. “What?!” The Hornet was horrified. “Impossible!”

“Lok!” Chase called out again. “You and the others have to get out of here!!” The White Bear nodded. “Quick-force, try to find a way out!!” he called. “Yes, brother!!” The Hippogriff replied, before taking to the air and reaching a barrier, hoping to make an opening.

“AARRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!” To everyone’s horror, Neo-Quickforce was blasted back onto the ground hard. “Quick-force!!” Lok asked, helping the Hippogriff up on his hooves. “Are you alright?!” “I’m fine,” Neo-Quickforce replied. “but the barrier knocked me back down; we’re all trapped inside!!”

Before anyone knew it, a brillant flash of light shone from the barrier, enveloping the Monsuno tribes and blinding the humans. “Ahh!!” Jinja screamed, covering her face. “My eyes!” “What’s happening?!” Dax asked “I can’t see anything!!” “Lok!!” Chase called out. “What’s going on?! Lok, where are you!?”

“I’ll be fine, brother!!” Lok called out. “We’ll see each other again!!” “What are you talking about?!” Chase asked. “Lok, please answer me, LOK!!!” At that moment, the light disappeared, leaving behind a large dust cloud.

Team Core-Tech coughed, waving the dust away. “Is everyone alright?” Jinja asked. “We’re fine, mates.” Dax replied. “Still, what’s with that light show?” “I’m more worried about Lok and our Monsuno.” Beyal added, worriedly. “Well,” Chase spoke up as he began to walk forward “we better check on them to see...if-” He stopped in mid-sentence.

“Chase, what is it?” Jinja asked. “Are Lok and the others alright?” There was no answer. “Chase, come on” Jinja asked again, as she walked forward. “You should at least give me a-” She stopped and grew shocked when she saw the look on Chase ’s face. His eyes were wide, and his face was pale, shock registered all over.

“Chase?” Jinja asked, now starting to get worried at his reaction. “What’s wrong?” She looked at his direction and her own eyes widen in horror. Soon, Bren, Dax and Beyal joined them and soon, they all grew shocked at what they saw.

“What the heck was that?!” Mr Black demanded as he and the other Eklipse villains coughed as well. “I don’t know,” Klipse growled. “but Suno is going to pay for this!!” “Father,” Six spoke up. “I don’t think it’s Suno who’s to blame.” “Six, what are you-” Klipse stopped when he saw his son’s reaction. “Son...” He looked to where his son was pointing and he grew shocked along with everyone of the villains.

Right before Team Core-Tech and Team Eklipse, was scorched earth with a large insignia of the magic circle burnt into it. And the Monsuno, both Core-Tech and Eklipse Monsuno...were gone. Vanished, disappeared without a trace.

“No way...” Dax whispered in shock. Beyal’s face had gone pale, this must be what Mystic-force saw in his vision. Jinja covered her mouth with both of her hands while Bren’s spectacles fell off from his shocked face. Chase was the most horrified, as he collapsed to his knees. “No...” he muttered, trembling in horror. “No...” Tears began to well up in his eyes as he lifted his head up and screamed to the heavens
