I have seen this one around and I think it was interesting because that's something I never ever thought about: which/who/what are my influences when I am drawing?
When I was making this I was worried that I couldn't get quickly which were.
I mean I have seen artists pointing to the their influences in drawings quickly and proudly. I couldn't get the 36 ones that this meme asks. I dunno.
I can say these are my influences because:
Taz, wile e. coyote - I can say all the looney tunes but these have been my favorites and I liked to draw them when I was a kid.
Friends and the simpsons - is the kind of humor I get when making comics. Say what you want but with some exceptions, Friends had excellent writers.
zeke wolf, gargoyles and donald - my favorite anthropomorphic characters from disney. I didn't put The Beast here because it was actually a human one but whatever..
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - the 80s cartoon when I was a kid just reforced my love to anthropomorphic characters
Tim Burton - I doubt my art has influences from him but I have always admired his vision abvout the world.
Princess Mononoke - like Tim burton I loved that movie and its more sober style.
Kaa, Braford (2004) Tomcat (2006) - they are great artists here that helped me to draw back again and were great references.
Persepolis - I added this, I dunno if it was correct, because on 2008 when I saw it it made keep drawing thanks to its beautiful lineart black and white style and human story.
And....well that's it. As you can see I don't have much influences. I dunno if that's a good or bad thing. There are lots of cartoons, artists and filmmakers that I love but I cannot call them "influences". I am not even sure about these ones.
I think that people around that have seen my artwork could spot the influences they see. I dunno, what do you think? what does my art reminds you?
