A little self-portrait of sorts - my fursona.
I don't really follow sports, but I'm still a fan of the Dodgers - and that's because I was almost born at Dodger stadium.. my mom went into labor during a game, and thought it was a bad dodger dog at first. haha. She barely made it to a hospital, and I was delivered by a nurse, because the doctor was also at the game ^.^,. That was in 1981, and that year the Dodgers won the World Series. My parents told me I was their good luck charm. I also went to a lot of dodger games growing up, since my parents had season tickets, so its got a lot of personal meaning for me in general.
I hope I'm smart enough to be chewing sugar free gum, or else I'm going to need a lot of peanut butter to get it out of my fur in case it pops on my face.
Done with micron pen, copic marker, acrylic paints and gel pen on 3.5"x5" bristol board. For the AC art show.

but i´m sure you know this ; )
love the jeans btw
Excellent work as always. ^_^
From an Aussie Dodger fan!
Maybe it's just the chewing gum, or the style you used, but she looks a little younger than you normally draw her, like she's maybe a teenager here. I apologize if that's not what you were aiming for, but I think it makes her look kind of cute.
And thats cool about your Dodgers story XD I wish i had a cool tale to tell like that
Anyway, I like this a lot. It's a nice, fun summer drawing. And it's awesome you have such a great memory. :D
I love your Art =)
I love the expression on this piece, as well as the pose. :3 Cute and casual. x3 Also, this picture makes your character look about 13, 14, 15-ish. :3 She looks quite a bit younger than in some of your other pictures. ^^ Forgive me if that wasn't the look you were going for, for its just a personal opinion of mine. ^^;;
Also, you're wife's pretty damn lucky in my opinion.
The pic is adorable, I especially love the reflected light :)
Be careful with the bubblegum though =)
Love this piece, has a lot of character!
Very Nice work Kacey!
Damned heat.... can hardly think clearly.
Does sugar-free bubblegum not stick? Hmm... I'll have to look into that...
So you were born a Dodgers fan, almost literally! ^_^
gum in the pads and between toes...
I love her pose and expression.
Fantastic detail too.
I can't wait until Ethier comes off of the DL.
You're bringin' this to AC? You're sellin' it? o.o I would think personal art is personal. =/
Just how I see it. xD; I'd want to keep art of me. o.o;
Can't say I'm a Dodger fan though. Go Padres! >:3
The Brooklyn Dodgers were a different incarnation, I know, but were you also interested in Jackie Robinson as a kid? I remember doing reports about him in elementary school...
She looks so innocent...and so young....
i love when you draw yourself
