Once upon a time on a little island, a flying pokémon was seen stealing an egg from the beach. Taking the poor thing straight down into the nearby volcano, a brave Psyduck decides to selflessly go retrieve it. The water-type trekked a short distance through some dense tropical terrain and found the lower cave entrance without any issues. Entering with a pinch of fear in her heart, Psyduck finds herself in total darkness. Suddenly, the temperature rises as a Charmander's tail lights up the circular room.

Blowing a dark smokescreen between himself and Psyduck, the lizard charges through with a primed headbutt – moving very aggressively. As a knee-jerk reaction, the duck responds by using the same exact move. Clashing skulls, Charmander topples right to his butt and whimpers – rubbing the bump on his forehead. Psyduck just stood there, not yet realizing that she has won that altercation. Enraged, the lizard stands up and stomps his feet. Inhaling a deep breath, Charmander gets ready to expel a few wild embers.

Spewing a flurry of fire-bombs at the duck, she responds by shooting through them with a steady stream of water. Blowing liquid down his throat, the lizard gets pinned to a stalagmite while the force of the drink holds his jaw wide open. Charmander gulps faster than he could swallow, making his esophagus work overtime. At a fair pace, the lizards belly inflates like a water balloon. Realizing how effective this move is, Psyduck approaches the expanding foe, holds his arms apart and shoves her beak in his mouth.

The duck lays atop Charmander's growing abdomen while she perpetually force-feeds him. Becoming impressively big and round, the lizards relatively small legs quiver and ache beneath the building pressure, so he rolls to his side in a sloshing plop to the rocky ground, then flat on his back. Hopping back down on to her feet, Psyduck bends Charmander's head backwards as she continues the blast-feeding. Clawing at her desporately, the lizards scratches are practically useless against the ducks thick skull. Charmander's flesh creaks morbidly loud.

Ballooned beyond the size of a Wailmer, the lizards body starts retracting all its limbs back into itself except for his flaming tail. With his claws and feet fidgeting deep within himself as if it'll somehow help, all his struggles do is slosh his massive form like some bizarre circus act. Hopeless in his endeavors, Charmander's body explodes into a monstrous oceanic wave – sending Psyduck into a violent tumble to the next room. Finding herself in a much larger area with cracks of lava in the walls, a wooden chest awaits her at the center.

Happily, the duck claps her little hands before lifting open the chest. Unfortunately, the treasure is nothing more than a lame escape rope. Slinging the thing across her chest, Psyduck slams the box closed – only to find an outraged Charmeleon on the other side. Roaring in a raspy voice, the dinosaur grabs the duck by her beak and tosses her across the room. Sprinting after her, Psyduck roll-dodges away while Charmeleon slashes his razor sharp claws along the floor. Being much more fast and dangerous than the last foe, the duck brainstorms a new tactic.

Running back towards the treasure chest, the dinosaur is hot on her tail as she turns around and launches herself at him – giving him a well-placed zen headbutt. It was a risky move, but Charmeleon is now heavily staggered with a nasty headache. Trying to regain his composure, the dinosaur begins sucking in a huge mass of air – getting ready to expel a wicked flame burst. Not wanting to risk those slash attacks again, Psyduck shoots a psychic beam at Charmeleon's head and makes him forget about his claws – disabling them.

Spiraling the escape rope skillfully, the duck lassos the dinosaurs snout shut and contains the building fire in his belly. Now blowing up like a hot air balloon, Charmeleon's arms dangle at his sides as he panics helplessly. With a big smile on her face, Psyduck places the other end of the rope in the treasure chest and slams it shut – using it as a weight for her new blimp. Gracefully, the dinosaur rises off the ground and dangles upside-down with his body expanding into the air like its own planet. The duck backs away slowly, watching from the doorway of the other room.

Moaning while his eyeballs gently poke from their sockets, Charmeleon's tail raises uncontrollably as he spews out cyclical fire-farts. He couldn't help it with the high-tension gas building up within. Inflating dangerously huge, he's nearly the size of a Wailord, albeit, much wider. Taking up most of the space the room has to offer, the dinosaurs whimpers echo throughout the cave while his limbs disappear into his own mass. With his scales stretched as far apart as they can go, Charmeleon pops remarkably loud and rumbles the whole cave.

Despite the inner quaking of the volcano, Psyduck finds herself incredibly lucky that the dinosaurs explosion didn't activate a volcanic reaction. Emerging from the room where she battled Charmander, the duck is delighted to see a metal treasure chest fall from the ruptured ceiling. Opening it right up, she finds a little yellow-capped urn with smoke rising from it. Recognizing that it's a full incense, Psyduck remembers that it's an item that makes pokémon gain weight. Carefully, she decides to tie the escape rope around it so she doesn't get effected by its powers.

Suddenly, the duck drops her stuff and plops to her knees – emitting a brilliant white light. As the room fades in and out of view, she looks down at her webbed hands and gasps – Psyduck has evolved into Golduck. Feeling incredibly empowered, she grabs her incense-rope and moves on to the final arena. Stepping out into a huge opening, the kappa finds herself in the pit of the volcano with a vast sky. Golduck notices the ancient stone-brick floor and the pool of lava beneath it, making a mental note to surely avoid that.

Wagging her tail, she sees a white egg with green spots nested atop a big pile of rocks at the center of the stage. Believing this to be the end of her quest, a Charizard rises from behind the rock formation and clamps his fangs around the egg. With a feeling of helpless dread sinking in the kappas heart, the dragon raises the thing straight up and gulps it down like an Ekans. Licking his lips gleefully, Charizard flaps his wings and soars over the arena - casting his shadow over Golduck. Confidently, he dive-bombs towards her with burning fangs.

Twirling her incense-rope in a vicious spiral, she throws it straight at him as he widens his big mouth – catching the urn and swallowing it. Smashing through the brick floor, the kappa narrowly avoids his attack as he flies back up through the other end of the stage. With the rope dangling from his mouth, the dragon sucks it down like a spaghetti strand. Gurgling noisily, Charizard's stomach begins expanding into a very protuberant potbelly. Since the full incense is an item designed for Snorlax, the dragon is now gaining the weight of that pokémon – which would be over 1,000 pounds.

Charizard's expression turns to regret as he reaches down his esophagus with both claws, trying to grab the rope and pull out the urn. With great haste, Golduck dashes at the dragon and leaps onto his bloating belly. Grabbing him by the wrists, the kappa pulls out his claws. Enraged, Charizard snaps his fangs at her as she struggles to keep his arms stretched away. With a girth the size of a Wailmer, the immense weight causes him to plop to his relatively small butt. Running out of options, the dragon decides to spew his vicious flamethrower at Golduck.

Unable to move, she decides to combat his fire with her hydro pump attack – blasting a dense stream of water down his throat. With Charizard being harshly inflated in two different ways, he takes a heavy plop to his wings as his navel bulges out dramatically. Sloshing in-place in a totally immobile state, the kappa stops force-feeding him and jumps away. Keeping her distance, she takes great pleasure in watching him struggle and inflate. Reaching back down his own throat, the effort is useless since the rope is far too deep to grab at his current enormous size.

Golduck laughs while taking a seat, since the sight was too comedic not to. Looking like he's pregnant with a curled up Wailord, the center of his body is perfectly spherical as his upper and lower extremities remain normal. With his flesh stretched to maximum tightness and with scales as far apart as they could spread, the dragon lets out a long soft cooing-moan for help. Curling all his limbs into himself as a last-ditch effort to contain the bloat he's received, planet Charizard explodes – obliterating the arena and sending it to the lava.

Acting quick, the kappa hops across the sinking pieces of stage as they vanish into the molten liquid. The volcano rumbles menacingly while lava begins spurting randomly around the crater. As the egg lays far away on a sinking platform, Golduck shoots an ice beam from it to her and slides down after it. Snatching up the egg as the platform breaks into chunks, the kappa leaps over to the exit and leaves the erupting volcano behind. Making it safely to the other end of the island, the egg hatches and an overjoyed Spheal emerges from it. THE END
