Memories That'll never fade... We miss you
MasterCrimson was very, very wonderful as always and made us this fantastic, beautiful... and heart wrenching memorial image for Inferno. The father, brother, friend, and all around just awesome dragon wolf who sadly passed away nearly a month ago. It still isn't easy to accept that fact he is gone, and I know I am not the only one who feels that, He was wonderful, loving and he just cared about everyone. He was always friendly to those he met, and all around just wanted to make the world brighter. He adopted many kids, was a father figure to those offline and online, and made peoples lives better in any way he could, he was silly, goofy, loving, and he knew that life wasn't easy, but he wished to be a light for those who needed it.
This image shows a lot of the people he was closest to, and loved dearly. On the couch, hes the center, the one who took care of everyone, made everyone happy. On his lap, his two closest sons, who he's known for almost a decade,
Chump125 and
silent_abyss, they had known him so long, grew close like a family, and he always called them his kids, and they gladly called him their dad, he loved them, and took care of them in any way he could, when life got hard, he was there.
To his left, Cerin, or
spunkycat2, over everyone in this image, he has known Inferno the longest, they've been close, and I don't think a day went by they were really ever apart, they remained friends, and were close like family for so long. Inferno soon took on a fatherly role for his character Cerin, and from there their bond only grew. He loved Cerin like he would any of his family, and it really showed.
To his right, Alex... His husband, the man I am glad to call a stepfather. I was the one who brought them together, I work for Alex and had him meet Inferno, they hit it off immediately. He was a wonderful man to Alex, and they got married, and had a happy life for a few years... Even with dad gone, Alex steps up and makes sure everyone is okay, doing his best for the family while they mourn such a loss. Alex is a wonderful man and always did his best to brighten the days when Inferno was sick leading to that day...
Next to Alex is Spark. A character belonging to inkbunny.net/MischiefRiolu. He didn't know dad as long, but they were friends. Chief made Spark as a way to play a small role in the family, as another son, because Inferno loved Charmander and the evolutionary line, and he had a son who was sweet, loving and cared for his dad. Their bond was short, but strong and dad loved Chief through everything, as if he had been a part of it much longer.
Above Spark, is Inferno's brother, and one of his dearest friends, Marz, known as
Mardozer725. Words could never describe how much they cared about each other. From the moment dad came around, Marz and him hit it off, they were friends, Dad watched Marz grow up and they were just close. Marz and I talked when it happened and it was clear Marz felt sad and hurt when dad passed away, and so I Wanted to include him, to remember that no matter what, he and dad were close, and Marz will forever be my uncle, no matter what happens, because he shared that same heart of hold Inferno did. They were a lot alike and I know dad is proud of Marz.
Next is Albus, such a goofball, my little brother, a teenager that a few know, but he doesn't come around places to often. He knows the people in this image mostly, and he was here when I got taken in by Inferno. He was close to his dad, he was adopted as a baby and so to us, Albus has always been dads kid. He was really devastated. Albus always brightens a room, hes loving, playful, has a sense of humor that always made dad laugh even when the pain was a lot. He made dads life, and ours, great during the rough time dad was slowly struggling. He kept a brave face and reminded people that Inferno is no longer suffering. He's a good kid with a great heart. Dad raised him right.
And finally of the main group, Lyle. A family member of
silent_abyss. He wasn't around as long as many present, but Lyle was Infernos father figure, because he never had one. When he showed up, he was quick to show he loved Inferno, always did his best to be a father he never had. There was some fights, and some struggle, but through it all, dad was close to Lyle, he loved him, and called Lyle dad, no matter what he felt. Inferno was happy to have such a loving father, and Lyle is trying his hardest to help as we get through this. He stuck it out to the end and made sure his son was happy until he had to pass.
We couldn't fit everyone, and Crimson decided to add these images to include the rest, important people still, but just needed their own place. The first image, above Lyle, is Inferno with his dragon son Drax, and Drax's husband Jay. Like Albus, Drax had been here since he was a baby, Inferno was his father figure and raised him despite not being his biological father. He loved Drax, and I believe Drax was his first actual son by all means through the adoptions dad did. Jay is a friend of Drax's, now husband. They were friends through middle and high school, and through Drax's time in college. Finally they got married very early this year, and were glad Inferno could see it. Inferno cared for Drax dearly, and treated Jay like family from start to finish.
The orange Fox is Calvin, a character belonging to Chris once again, there wasn't much story to why we included him, it just felt fitting as Inferno was close to Chris and wanted both parts of him present, the lovable little fox, and the older looking orange fox.
Next is the little green dragon, and my buddy inkbunny.net/SeroJ, he and dad i think knew each other before I was around, and I never really heard the full story but I knew they were friends, and I wanted to include Sero because I knew he at least had a bond with dad like the rest of us did.
Next is the Chit'Vani/Snow Leopard Zero.
Balistical is an amazing guy, and someone I hold close as a true friend. He always showed a lot of respect and care about dad, and even created a few characters solely for the sake of giving dad people to have in stories and RP's, his wives Scath and Ling. Zero and dad always seemed to get along, and he was very supportive when dad passed away, he means a lot to me and I know dad cared about him and is happy to see how supportive and caring Zero had been through what we have been through. His friendship is appreciated dearly.
And finally... Kevin and John with their dad. To those who don't know, my name used to be John before I had it changed to Kevin. I was adopted from an abusive family and taken in by Inferno. I used John and Kevin because it shows a transition. I went from John, someone who never showed emotion, was scared to, and had many issues, to Kevin, someone who's a bit more outgoing, not afraid to be true to himself and is happy. John and Kevin symbolize different parts of my heart and mind, and what I went through. Dad helped me through all of it, he showed me I was safe, I was okay, and I could do what i wanted and not be afraid of what will happen. He saved me when I was in my darkest place, an abused person. I won't go into any details, but Inferno saved me, and he is the reason I remain here today, pushing on even when he's gone, being brave. I love him more than anything... And I miss him.
All these people were affected by and have affected dads life, and this is just scratching the surface... there are so many people I wanted to include but had to choose the ones I know were the closest. We all loved Inferno, and still do, and miss him more than anything right now... and we are all glad he is no longer suffering. As crimson put it:
"It is not permanent goodbye... but for now it is just a temporary farewell. We will meet again one day."
We love you dad... Wherever you are now, we hope you are happy, and not hurting anymore. Rest in peace, a wonderful human, a wonderful father, friend, son...
