ANIMATION - Joshua and the Promised Land
This was my entry for the Joshua and the Promised Land Reanimated collab. I had one of the shots of Joshua running through the parting sea. I think the intention of the scene was to illustrate Joshua being amazed at this new reality, and it hitting him that this is all real, and I tried to capture that here.

Your animations are always a joy to watch. The first thing I notice is the soft soothing colouring and the peaceful setting. As we see Joshua from a distance, the size of the setting gives it a lovely magnificence. Nice work on the wavy waterfall effect along with the varying bubble/steam effect of the water meeting the base.
The timing of his jump with the fish in the background gives a wonderful sense of energy, especially the skip he does after he lands. I love how naturally fluid his body is moving. The most fantastic feature is when we see him magnified in the waterfall. It is so cool how you have we have the perspective of seeing him at a distance and the emphasis on his head movement working beautifully in sync. I like how you've got him slowly moving his head to gentle quick snap as he focuses in on his next jump. Lovely fluidity and movement with this arms and tail, again emphasising his energy.
In reference to your statement, I would say the magnification is his realisation of reality. Even from afar, he does look handsome. It only lasts a few seconds but leaves a fantastic impression. OUTSTANDING WORK and a joy to view💖⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🙌👍
