cant you just wear a regular mask under this?

That'd kinda ruin what I'd be hoping for. My issue is at work. I have to wear the mask for eight to nine hours. Those strings hurt the fsck outta my ears after that long. This design looks, like it'd be a set of ear muffs, if I could add a cloth filter, instead of having to wear a full string held mask.
Just a kind of clip on ear cover, as this appears, looks far more comfortable

Also, if I'm wearing a regular mask. This renders the cover moot. My ears would still hurt

you could find a cloth mask that has the connections the other direction, i have one that dies up behind my head

been working on gettign a few printed for such an application, I'll keep you posted once i have a print of two ready

so far i've found a littl ebit of pre plannign you can insert some plastic posts, and 2 layers of PVA plastic to frame the fabric, to hold oen in place with screws, ALtrnitavely, use a bavaclava half face mask (link below for the one i'm useing) liek a swimsut hood.
