Another fan pic that I consider a Beastars passion project has finally been completed! So much time was spent on the details, because I’m helplessly obsessed with accuracy. My intentional posting date of Friday, November 13th was therefore delayed by three days.
I wanted to showcase the female characters of Cherryton Academy wearing male student uniforms. The female uniforms that exist are a bit too feminine for my taste. I picked only seven girls, since adding more of them would compromise the balance of this pic and make it awkward.
It’s a really pleasant afternoon at Cherryton. Enjoying the sunshine on the east lawn, which is located in front of the high school’s main hall and drama theater, you find a small gathering of familiar young ladies sitting on the grass. Right next to these conversing students is an assembled square composed of gymnasium mats. An event of some kind is about to take place soon. One of the girls notice you, calling out your name. It’s Ellen the zebra, and she’s invited you to join the group. All of them have just finished their classes for today, still wearing their uniforms. Their attire matches the outfits of their male counterparts due to a new regulation issued by Headmaster Gon. Introduced in part to emphasize gender equality, it was introduced as a means to discourage and minimize the ever-present crime of sexual assault. As you sit among them, you also notice something about each of the girls: they’re all barefoot!
Long story short, the girls are sitting on the edge of the rubber platform reserved for a judo tournament that will be held tomorrow morning. Arranged in a row, your friends have agreed to be have their pictures taken with their massive, soft, bare soles displayed up close. From left to right:
Mizuchi the harlequin rabbit.
Shiira the cheetah.
Juno the gray wolf.
Ellen the zebra.
Els the angora goat.
The camera girl for the “School Wave” newspaper. Sadly, you forgot her name and species. She appears to be a viscacha, a mountain rodent related to the chinchilla.
and Haru the dwarf rabbit.
All of these characters and their beloved Cherryton High belong to Paru Itagaki.
