I love artwork like this
A sort of discount Deja Vu fills me when I see pieces like this
It feels like I've seen it before, like it's a piece of a past I don't actually remember.
But it's not trying to pander to my nostalgia
It's trying to be its own thing, but it speaks to me, in way.
I find things like this truthfully more sincere than all those "HEY GUISE! 80'S! EIGHT BIT! LOLOLOLOLOLOL!" we've seen over the years
