I ADORE barn owls and this was a great excuse to draw one! I used a new "lineless" method I am developing, I feel I depend too heavily on heavy ink outlines and it stops my work from appearing realistic.

I apologize for how long it's taken me to reply! D= Yes practice sure does make perfect! ^_^ I always like to draw in the skeletal structure of the bird wing before the feathers, I find it really helps me get the angle and length down before "fleshing it out" so to speak. =)
