Hey there Balaa! Of course I don't mind you asking, I'm flattered!
Through talks with Bagheera I've got you down for 'Glass Fiona' when I decide to sell it! Which others were you interested in?
As for the Redwall related work, I'm not obliged to sell that off :{!
Having just finished Uni I'm currently in the process of finding a job, sigh, but when things smooth out a little I'd be more than honoured to take on any commission work if that's what you fancied :) the choice is yours!
Thank you for your support Balaa, it means alot!

Glass Fiona for certain and I would have loved this one but I would absolutely settle for a print (I understand keeping some special pieces to yourself..and this one is special! Well all your work is really), if you intend to offer them [:! I typically have a preference of just buying originals from artists, simply because I know how hard commission work can be and rather not add to the workload of an artist. And second I think there is something more genuine and honest in personal work. That is to say..no matter how great a commissioner's idea, our personal work tends to carry the essence of our artistic being moreso than any commissioned work could ever do. So I rather like the idea of giving a good home to a piece of art that was born of inspiration and that, in turn, inspired or stirred something in me...and it gives me an excuse to go mad with matting and buying a frame, one of my bigger vices!
Thank you for getting back to me. I had nudged Bagheera to write you but didn't realize he mentioned my name as well!
Good luck with the job hunt by the by C:

I agree and understand with you there. With my own work I often consider the differences between commissioned and personal pieces, always to find, for the same reasons you've specified, commissioned work is always missing that certain 'thing'. Something that I suppose can be noticable in alot of artists work when comparing the two, not suggesting that the commissioned work is not as beautiful though ^^.
So for now, in regards to selling, I'll be in touch ;)! And thanks, hopefully I won't find myself cleaning toilets in my local pub :P!

Ugh.
It's stuff like this that makes me wish the Redwall books didn't drive me up a wall. The writing is just so friggin immature I've never been able to make it past the first chapter of the first book. If any of them are better, do let me know, because the stories sound badass, i just hate the childish writing style XD

Lol ^^, well my only growing concern with the Redwall series is that the plots are becoming very similar! Animals live in peace, enemy comes, someone needs to go fetch something or someone to save everyone >_<. Doesn't stop me loving them though ;3, I've still got most of them to read!
Ah, perhaps one of the most awesome pieces to date! A truly beautifully done piece of Redwall right there
For as evil as Slagar was, I think he was probably one of the most intriguing villains of the series (thus far for myself, re-reading at book 6). He totally had a lot more depth than many of the others, and holy crap does he look rather dashing in this~!

Oh my god, wow! This is incredible! The colors have a very mystical feel to them, and his cloak has an incredible energy to it. It looks very much like it was captured mid-motion. Your attention to the details of the embroidery and the background architecture... just wow!
Heheh, I had thought Chickenhound was dead after he dove into Asmodeus' den. How surprising it was for him to come back in the next book! ^_^

Oh man, I saw this and went HOLY CRAP IT'S SLAGEAR-
I don't see a lot of Redwall fanart and boy, you have me wondering why the hell not. This is superb. The swish of his cloak, the rich lighting, the sweeping composition-everything about this is so beautifully laid out, I feel like I could stare for hours.
Great, great work.

Omg, AWESOME rendition of Slagar. He had to be one of my favorite villains in the series.
Redwall had this funny way of making me sympathise with the villains much more than the heroes for some reason, especially some of the less villainous ones like poor Fortunata in Mossflower.

Oh. My. God. You might just be my freaking hero. I JUST found this and OMG I am gonna look through your gall and check out everything else. I can not begin to tell you the impact these books have had on my life, to the point that it will be probably my only furry related tattoo (well anthro tattoo). I just think you are so amazingly talented, and although I am rarely jealous, I wish I could draw characters from this series as expressively and beautifully as you do. Major kudos.
You have no idea how much this made me smile. I clicked it and immediately thought "Slagar!!" And behold, I was right! I couldn't have imagined a more perfect picture of him, it's so beautiful and dynamic I just want to stare and stare. His cape is just as hypnotic as the book described. Ahh, my childhood illustrated. :)
You should adapt the redwall books into graphic novel form. It's doable if you give proper credit and don't profit from it...but I can see why you may not be willing to take on such a time consuming project with no financial gain. Anywho I just think a graphic novel adaptation in your TRANSCENDENT art style would be indescribably epic... >v<
