For my costume, I thought it would be kinda cool to have some kind of creepy claw like thing contrasting to its overall elegant theme. Sadly I didn't have much of a plan, time or the money to work with, so I just whipped up something together using scrap leather and spray paint. It surprisingly came out decently given I only put less than 2 days work into it. However I did learn quite a bit from this so I want to make a more detailed design in craft foam or even metal in the future. Till then it works for what it is.
