This all started with a devilously fun patch on the MC-909 called 'AutoVox'. It's that 8th-note choir thing... but the thing is, it hits the 'separate notes' automatically. So I'm just holding down the chords and it does the pulsing in tempo by itself. The little 'Hah!' and 'C'mon!' vocalizations were cool... but sometimes I wonder if they don't get a little old. I tried to go easy on them, but it was the 'Wooo!' that gave me the title.

And how about that beat-boxin' break? Seriously, there is a percussion menu that's beat box sounds! When I heard that, I had to use it.

I tried converting this to the MC-505 (the 909 has patches and features that the 505 doesn't, like a sample engine as well as a synthesizer engine) and it's a pretty good version. It has its own charm...
