My single largest painting ever. Three feet by four.
Just a scene of a stream in a very green forest.
It won me a silver at the NE indiana scholastic art competition, and it now hangs on my parents wall.
Acrylic on canvas

WOW! That is amazing!
I personally CAN paint...photo realism in oils was beaten into me in art school....to the point where I HATE to do it ...my grandmother has some rolled up and stuffed in her house where I couldn't find them to light on fire after I graduated (my painting teacher was a nazi...he always gave me 'C's and ruined my GPA......><...my last year I just went over his head to the Dean of Arts to petition my grading)...*ramble blah blah*
You should do MORE painting. In fact I think that you and your lady should do it together, let her place figures in your amazing landscapes!
