went ahead on this one... the idea of a slim and slender jackal becoming a big fat ball was just too fun to pass up. I also wanted to offer some variety... it appears most don't like Simon's tale to much.
So joining my cast of characters is the plucky Prince Kaphiri.
Kaphiri supposedly means "Hills" which is what he'll become after this enormous feast
His dads name "Mudads" supposedly means "the provider" which is exactly his role in the story.
His brothers name "Masud" supposedly means "lucky"
"Chibale" who is Mudads friend and royal advisor means "Kinsmen"
then again I got these names from a baby naming website so who knows if any of it is true.

EDIT: WOULDN'T ralph on his father's royal paws, WOULDN'T ralph...
He's spoiled but not that much, He's at least grateful for his gifts, and respects his old man enough that he would spew in the other direction if necessary

I'm glad your enjoying them... as for Simon, I need a break before that project takes off again. I banged this out in twenty minute, but the last two paragraph I wrote for Simon took an hour and a half. I just need to ditract myself from him and come back when the story begins to write itself anew.

Heh, the palaces made of chocolate made me think of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Still, this presents some nice possibilities of course. And if he's going to be bratty, then it'll be an even sweeter treat perhaps. You do very good descriptions in the stories so far, this no different.
