Ion Troopers are second basic combat infatry units of Syntraforce. Kinda universal in their mission as they can switch between Ion Assault Rifle mode and ion counterpart for Thumper Grenade Launcher.

Pyrotechnics Troopers are third basic combat infatry units of Syntraforce. Their blowtorches and mortars are infernal counterparts for Ion Troopers. Best used with Ion Troopers around, if you wish a quick destruction for enemy.

Riot Troopers are fourth and final basic combat infatry unit working for Syntraforce. As name implies, its more recommended to use them to protect strategic points instead of sending them to siege, although they can do one trick or two, supporting other units in battles, thanks to their riot shields.
