"Mahdraes" were a species of bird-people I invented when I was younger. I did many many drawings/paintings of them, but I seem to have lost most of them. I had a whole world, races, classes, and even language invented for them. Full-length multi-chaptered stories too. Lost all of that. Just a few paintings I was able to find in a box remain.
Being as I invented them when I was young, it followed that light= good, dark = bad.
No criticism for bad anatomy (or any other errors), the feet on the gold one really bug me too. But what can I do, go back in time and slap my teenage self? Get me a Tardis, and I'll do just that.
These are both watercolor.
