We are currently still in half way of part 1 of the comic. I stopped it because the artist is currently sick (i check on her at least weekly to see how he's doing, buuut... yeah)
Mid-way through part 2 Philomela gets her hands on magic. Goes on a rampage. Because. Ends up regretting the rampage, and saving one of the people she got killed due to not thinking things through. That... kills her (again).
Part 3 she gets herself back together and helps people one last time, this time without... you know... getting destroyed... And then decides she needs a vacation to reconsider stuff and get out of the entire situation.
So she ends up in that "dream world" where she will stay for a while.
Once she has access to magic, she can get away from the 2 major limitations: memory and the ability to get winded, but she also gets to be able to fly for real and do other minor magic.
