This is a vastly greater improvement in comparison to the one I did about a year ago. The one I made last time was hastily clapped together and broke several times. The last repair to it has been sufficient enough to allow the saw to serve me well.
I will still use the old one from time to time, but this one is much nicer.
It is also much larger, with a 21 inch blade.
The entire saw frame was made from a downed oak tree that fell behind a neighbors' house. They offered me some money to clear it off their lot and I took up the offer, but I would have done it just for the wood itself (since I can make stuff like this with it, as well as charcoal.)
It is nice and collapsible and can easily be stowed away in a bag.
